MInt: The marble has no damage visible to the naked eye at about 3". In addition, it has no "as-made" mark greater than a small as-made dimple, area of rubbing, or manufacturing pit or blow-out. In addition, it is missing no glass.

HEATON AGATE COMPANY - Opaque or Transparent Swirl. Opaque white-based or two-tone; or Transparent blue-based. Distinctive and vividly colored. White based include yellow, red, orange, green, and blue. Two tone blue and two tone green were also made and are included in this selection. The only Transparent Swirl included is the Transparent Blue with White, a beautiful marble often mistaken for a slag. Cairo, W.V., circa 1946-1971. 5/8". Mint- to Mint+ (9.0 - 9.9).

AKRO AGATE COMPANY. Opaque. Jade Green base, spots and streaks of dark green aventurine. Interesting marble. These were found in bulk jobber boxes with stapled corners. Perhaps they are a type of Imperial (fancy marble), or Opal (Akro solid marble). Parkersburg, WV, circa abt. 1920-1940. 5/8". Mint- to Mint+ (9.0 - 9.9).
